SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 14.36 g, 7h). Struck AD 112/113. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; globe at point of bust / Eagle standing facing on club left, head and tail left, with wings spread; palm frond to right. Prieur 1508 (Tyre); McAlee 443; RPC III 3546/8 (this coin cited and illustrated). Good VF, lightly toned, areas of staining on reverse, minor porosity. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, none in CoinArchives, and eleven specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
