Lot description: SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 14.36 g, 7h). Struck AD 112/113. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; globe at point of bust / Eagle standing facing on club left, head and tail left, with wings spread; palm frond to right. Prieur 1508 (Tyre); McAlee 443; RPC III 3546/8 (this coin cited and illustrated). Good VF, lightly toned, areas of staining on reverse, minor porosity.
